I am loading 380 acp with cast boolits
can't find the exact weight for my favorite powder.
however the next weight up is for my powder, is this safe by going to the heavier bullet listed and use it for a lighter boolit?

Yes you can but not the other way. In other words not wise to use a lighter bullet load data for a heavier bullet, but you can use the heavier bullet data for a lighter bullet because the lighter bullet will have less pressure not more.

The .380 Auto is an EXTREMELY small case and any bullet set-back will raise pressure to dangerous levels. Most loaders stay with slower powders to mitigate the pressure spike. None of your powders should be used in any load approaching max and, personally, if I was forced to use them I would only load the starting load. Also, work with the LONGEST COL you can.
All I have in my compiled load data are max loads. Reduce any load below by at least 10% for a starting load. Since you have found data for a heavier bullet, you have all the load data you need. Use the following simply for information.

.380 Auto Load Data
Bullet Weight Powder Weight Velocity Start/Max COL
L-RN 100 AA2 3.6 943 Max
L-RN 100 AA5 4.5 922 Max
LRN 100 Unique 3.5 Max
LRN 104 231/HP38 3.4 950 Max 0.9800
