I was going to sell one of my shotguns to a guy at work today, but last night after I got home and took it out of the safe I looked at it, noticed that there is no rust nor fingerprints anywhere, no scratches, nothing. It's in pristine condition. It looks better than the one WalMart has on display.

I shook my head and put it back.. I just can't part with it...

Walmart actually has some pretty good deals these days. The Mossy that I looked at the other day had hard wood furniture on it. Both it & the 870 EX were chambered for 3.5" 12 ga shells. Prices were darn reasonable. I managed to resist temptation, but it was a challenge.

Sell a gun?

I am not a gun dealer.
I am a gun collector. Even those that are broken or don't shoot well are worth keeping.

I've got every single gun that has ever come into my possession. I might rework one or two but sell one...nope. About the only way one will ever leave is as a gift to my son later on or an estate sale.

So what did the guy at work say when you changed your mind?

He said " I don't blame you a bit."

Now he's looking at a Tristar O/U with 28 ga. and .410 barrels..
