Abt 4 ww biscuits to 12 inches of 95/5 plumbers solder.

Looks like you got pretty decent fillout for shiny boolits, that's hard to do. Personally, I prefer casting at a faster rate to get the mould hotter and produce slightly "satin" boolits, easier for me at least to get really crisp edges that way, but it looks like whatever you're doing is working well, congratulations!

I think I remember reading somewhere that the lube clings better to the satin ones. That would make sense. This is my first effort at casting, so we'll see. They aren't boolits till they hit the mark....and don't ruin the barrel in the process. On to the next step, getting proper dimensions/proper charge that will cycle and play nice. Almost went after a # of 231 yesterday to try that in addition to TG, but lawnmower complications arose. (Dang it)

I used to have a lawn mower, but then I moved to the desert. If I find any grass in my yard, I get out the RoundUp!
