I got to work yesterday at 5:30 ... Will get home around noon on Saturday! The life of a truck driver! But ... I plan on visiting a gun shop on Sat to buy (or more likely order) a gun!

We have had less than .25" of rain since New Years!

Well to day I get to meet my new physical therapist, as per the Doc.
My back has gotten worse and I can't walk to good anymore and now sitting is painful,
and if I sit in the truck for more than a half hour my legs lock up on me.
But on another note it has rained here about 14 days out of the last 16 days.
So look what I have to look foreword to -- sunshine and walking and I will conquer both
of them. Life is good-------> As good as we make it EH.

Doing the bread baking for the week. I make our bread the old fashioned way so we can use our few dollars for the important things in life. Make ten loaves at a time and enjoy doing so.
Then I will finish cleaning the 7x57 as I was testing a 160gn Woodleigh with a new front blade I made for the aperture. I have another for the cast softnoses but there is a 9 in difference in elevation at 100yds. Now with the 2-7 Leupold in QD;s I have numerous sighting option for differing hunt or play shooting days.

Ran through a box of 404 350gn GC's at 1400 so will load more after the bread is done.
Will check on the sheep and decide of the next doors ram should come out an go back home. He has been with them for 6 weeks so should have done his job (any number of times) .

Cheapest bread is NZ$1.60 a loaf and I make it for about 45c.

Dont count my time the same way I dont count my time in the garden when looking at the price of vegetables or casting and loading time when looking at the cost of shooting.

Steg will go to the recipies section and post bread recipies.

Hopeing the pain in my hip will recede enough that I will be able to lube/size several thousand boolits. Doc wants to replace it, but just can't afford it.

I'm working today, but yesterday I was off and took my daughter (she's 27) and her friend to the gun club and we burned up 100 44 specials and 50 38 wadcutters. She wanted to shoot daddy's "cowboy" gun. It's a USFA single action in 44SPL. We had a great time. Her friend was a first timer. A good time was had by all. I was cleaning guns till 11:00PM. enjoy Mike

I decided to cut the grass this morning. Broke the pull rope trying to start my push mower. So I used the weedeater for an hour. Took mower apart, got new rope at hardware store, put mower back together, then cut grass for about an hour. Put everything away, took a pain pill. I'm done for the day.

I almost miss lawn mowing. Almost. Spent some time putting things away from NCBS, and will clean guns tomight while listening to the baseball game (Angels & A's). Also spent some online time this morning examining lathes and their romantic possibilities. All that face time with Buckshot has side-effects.
