Not quite close enough to mentor you in person but welcome to the site, lots to learn and hopefully someone will chime in that is a bit closer to you. You seem fairly close to Fayetteville. I'm in High Point and do get to Laurenburg on occasion but that is still a tad far from you.

Great people here, lots of knowledge and they love to share. Be sure to read the stickies, they tend to answer most beginning questions.

Don't be afraid to ask any questions, some point to the search function but most are happy to answer anything, even if asked every week.

Welcome to the boolit Forum. First long-distance mentoring - read ALL of the Stickies! Then read 'em AGAIN! Been doing this for decades, and am still learning. And Roger on the addictive nature of the activity. This is the best site on the Net...

Welcome Dave:
If you read the material already on site here you will learn more than most people will ever know about this hobby. I also recommend you purchase several manuals that cover these topics. I like the Lyman series as they have a wealth of information. Particularily their Reloading, Blackpowder, Shotshell, and Cast boolit Handbooks. These are four handbooks I wouldn't be without.
