New member, not a new caster

Hi everybody. I am a new member and what a great site! Not new to casting, been doing it for 15 years. I've cast over 60,000 bullets in the last year using Lee equipment exclusively. So, I've been busy. It's great to find a site like this, as I get tired of the strange looks from places when scrounging for lead for bullets. Heck, in my gunclub, I bet there isn't 20 people out of 1000 that cast their own. Great to be here.

Your right! there are not many people still casting bullets in my area the list keeps getting smaller every year .
the 2 local friends that i used to talk to about cast bullets and, were both experinced casters both have died. ive been casting since 1974 , im working on 500,000 ! ill be there in a year or so

Welcome shoez - there are several bullet casters in my clubs and others I know of around, but not as many as I would think.

Welcome aboard, I have been casting since 1970 and have been in the cowboy shooting game for about 3 1/2 years. I have run into just three casters that sat down and talked casting in my shoots. I am sure that there are more but I have yet to meet them. Met one by having the Cast Boolits forum stickers on the bumper of my truck. Enjoy yourself.

Welcome aboard and have found so many give me funny looks when tell them I feed my pistols nothing but lead. Everything from it will wear out your barrel or they aren't accurate, course these folks don't cast and use only high priced J bullets. They forget more animals in history of world have been taken with lead boolits that J bullets. Plus then they complain about how high factory ammo has gotten. Then i smile and tell them what i figure mine cost.
