Some bullets for a lend me mold.

Was just wondering if anyone would like some # 68 sized and lubed or UN-sized
45 ACP bullets--- for the lend of some kind of a mold to cast 40 S&W bullets.
I can probly get a lee push through sizer in 401 but I can't do both.
The Bullets are cast from my H&G 68 mold, the metal is WW with about 25% pure
and a little tin. The sized bullets are .453--UN -sized are about .4545.
These are for the wife's Beretta 96.
I would send the mold back in the same shape it was lent to me.
I guess I would cast a thousand bullets or so. I can't lie and say I only need a few.
I don't care what the mold looks like or how old it is, just that it will cast some bullets.

Sam, I'd be glad to help you out, but I don't own a .40 for a mold for same. You need to ask me for a .45 mold. There, I'm easy..... Mike

the only 40 mold i got is for a magma master caster or i'd loan it to you.
the one i got for the 38-40 would work too but it's for the magma also.
unless you got a master caster then p.m. me i'll ship one of em to ya.

No, don't have one of those but I sure do thank you.
I have seen some of those 38/40 bullets from an old Lyman mold, they looked like a nice bullet.
I like the way the nose was shaped, flat point and yet not a truncated cone. Looked interesting.

I'm pretty sure I have a Lee TL 40 mold and a Lee sizer you can use. I can check alittle later and PM you.

Any interest in some 175grain commercial cast bullets? These a SWC type and lubed with some kind of red commercial lube. I lucked into a good amount and would be willing to send you some to try. I have no need for any H&G 68 boolits, and don't need anything in return for these, just let me know in PM what your addy is and I'll send out some for you to try.
