What time of the day do you reload or is there a curfew when you don't reload?.... Curfew is when the who ever says its time to quit.

Curfew? For reloading? Why would there be a curfew? How would there be a curfew? From where would a curfew come from?

Sorry, I just don't understand the question.

Rick

EDIT: beanflip has changed the question since I posted my reply rendering my reply pointless.

I make it an absolute rule to never reload unless there's an "a" or a "p" ahead of the "m".

I prefer to load in the a.m. when my mind is the most rested. However, any time during the day when I can find time. Never late at night when I am tired and possibly prone to make mistakes.

If I have a lot to reload I do it when I have time during the daytime.
I have enjoyed reloading in the evening a lot,it helps clear all the stress of the day.
Like playing golf I never think of anything but hitting that damm ball.
OH and the wife doesn't mind me getting out of the house at all.

I am very strict about not reloading when I am at work, in the car, eating, or sleeping. Other than that, it can be at any time.

I get to the bench when I can, usually mid day when Im off work, keeping my little one at home. Her hour and a half nap is perfect and mommas at work, so she cant complain either. Now when the inlaws are in town, Im down there alot more hahaha.

Whenever I have time and am not sleepy after a nap is a good time.
SWMBO does not care when I reload as long as she can watch her freakin soap operas.

HA! Me too. It can be midday, until midnight, just depends on what I am doing & what I need.

It is more a case of convenience for me. That is, when I have enough cases to load and this often requires me to go and empty some first.

I do my prep and prime about 20 min at a time when I can ,actual loading seems to be Friday afternoons lately ,I used to get a whole Friday and Sunday at least once a month to cast and load and just to shake off all the work, family , life ****. No curfews lately.

No SWMBO, so no curfews. I generally work on case prep for a 1/2 hr or so in the mornings before I head to work, and whenever else on the weekends/evenings when I have time/motivation.

Fortunate for my casting and reloading hobbies, I'm retired and SWMBO isn't. So generally I reload between 9am and 6 pm.

Now that we are running into summer time, I probably wont be doing much reloading. If I do it will be either later in the evening or early in the morning. In the cooler months, any time.

I load when I can and when I feel like it. No rhyme or reason to it.

I will not reload when I have been drinking, so I do most of my reloading in the morning.

Whenever I have full concentration. If I got up @ 5:00 AM for work I usually shout down around 9-9:30 PM. If I slept in who knows.

I reload when I have time and am not tired...too easy to make a mistake when tired.

Hard to find time, though, with work, home maintenance, projects, lawn work and babysitting my grandson.

Curfew? I don't think so...

Curfew. Lord haven't had one of those since way back in the day, I'm retired and load when feeling hits me like when not casting or shooting. Even back in the day didn't have much of curfew cause always coon hunting or running fishing lines even when working had no curfew cause in my line of work was on call 24/7. Tell me you don't have curfew.

Do you think you have a problem? Does someone else think you have a problem?

Personally, I got rid of the wife and moved the loading bench into the front room.

geargnasher! Maybe this will help with the understanding. Some guys (reloaders) may
have a curfew setter living with them and some don't. I really think it is best to set a resonable reloading curfew my self and that helps keep the peace around the house. If I were the only one here it would be different.

Pretty much when ever I feel like it. Didn't do much from november to the end of april. Was busy with work and school. Been doing some casting lately cause most of the loading gear is packed up to move. Was up til the wee hours of this morning because there was a storm going through and my knee was justa throbbing away.

Case prep any time , powder only when i will not be distracted or to tired

work wakes me at all times of the night , so if they get me up at 4am and i fix thier problem by 5 i can reload till 6 when the alarm was going to go off , the house is always quietest in the morning.

now if i could just test loads at 5am

does any one tare a primed case on the digital scale then add powder then set on the scale to double check , i am looking at getting a digital scale for that . after weight checked set the boolet on and seat one round at a time no loading block all primed casses are set in a tray mouth down untill they get powder . my current load in porgress doesn't have room for a double charge but it has room to go over max by a few grains

After more than 20 years of shift work, time of day means little. If I have been on lates, then I might reload a few when I get home at 4am. I won't do anything that is going to disturb SWMBO (she is already quite disturbed) if she is in bed.
