Only if you are planning on smelting it 10lbs at a time. There is no way that it will support much more weight.

The 58,000 BTU fish fryer from Bass Pro at $30 seems a much better deal to me. It melts 150lb batches for me & I get 5-6 batches from a 20lb LP tank.

Bob is right in the ball park .. we all have different taste ..
mine is a wally world special , but I cut a foot off of the legs .... been working great , hold upwards 180 , 200 lbs with my steel pipe pot and the legs slip off and it dissembles nicely to store on a bottom shelf in my shop.

I would not use a toy like that,
Looks like a burger and two franks would tip it over.
Forget toasting the buns.
I would use what the guy's recommend

sorry ... i too think this will be too flimsy to support much weight , i would hate to see it tip over and scald S C A L D 3rd degree burn you . a turkey fryer will do the trick and an old propane pot with the top cut off , (in a safe manner ) the money spent may save a trip to the hospital or a fire call....
if you need to save money, use a large pot and use a campfire to melt a large pot .. to save on a burner , but this will be no good for bullets, asit would be too hard to control the temp ...i use this method to make ingots
