Anyone know of a good website for identifying old construction equipment? HCEA has a nice BB but I need pics. Specifically for Trojan loaders and Hough loaders. Eyeballing a farm loader or 3 and need a little info to go on.

Spent Sat pm on the seat of my Deere 1010 crawler/loader/backhoe. Had to dig a new drainline from the milkroom/reloading/casting room as the old on was collapsed. Having sorta grown up on a MF ( I think) with foot swing, this JD takes some getting used to. Good thing it's ungodly slow. One heck of a lot better than a shovel, fer sure!

In the past month I've looked at a Cat D2, an early 50's Dodoge Power Wagon and a Bantam crane. Who says us gun nutz are single minded morons? Morons maybe, but certainly not single minded.

Thank you Wills. At least now I have an idea of the models I may be looking at and a nice shot of the Hough HM I grew up using. I really mean grew up using too. I started plowing the parking lots of my folks bar/restaurant, about 5 acres, when I was 12 or maybe a little younger. My folks almost got divorced over that loader, (Mom thought it was a stupid idea), but I loved the ugly ol'thing. Great way to devloep upper body strength- plowing snow at -20 with a non-functioning power steering system on a straight body loader!

Don't know how many or how much of what but when I was looking for tractor information I went to yesterdays tractors.
I got rid of some AC crawler manuals as well as graders and etc so there must have been a heavy equipement section.
I'll post link tomorrow if you need it.
Don't have it with me here at friends place.
