Vintage Schrade Hunting Knife Collection Pic

I wasn't sure wear to to post this but I have had numerous requests to see my Vintage Schrade Hunting Knife Collection.
I have several that haven't arrived yet. A couple are undergoing some restoration that I bought just to use as parts.

No sir I have not. I almost got a Schrade 2 blade folder from a member here but at the last minute he backed out.

Duke, The sheaths on the bottom row look a lot like Randall sheaths. Do you know if Schrade used the same subcontrator Randall did at one point, or if they are just made similarly?

The first knife I ever bought was a Schrade like the one at top left in the pic but mine had the derlin handle. I lost it and never bought another knife, but made all my own after that. Nice collection there Duke.

Good collection I have several shrades really do not count as collection as they are used. I also occasionally use a very old Marbles safety ax too I shouldn't but it is cared for and not abused (much).

When more jingle rolls in next week wifey said we should get this one to. Gransfors Bruks 31" Splitting Maul w/ Collar Guard #450
Oh! and a new new Stihl 441 chainsaw for making firewood.
I'm getting way to old for these.

Here's a Vintage Perforated Lance Tooth for Soft Woods. I made the case 20 years ago for horse packing.
It don't work worth a darn on White Oak in OR/WA where my homes are. 4' White Oak required a borrowed chain saw. It does chew through pine though. ;)

I could never keep an edge on my Schrade, gave up and went to Buck.

This is what I was told pending the year you purchased it. The carbon steel are the older ones and the stainless are the newer one. If it says Schrade+ it's stainless steel.

That's the kind of info. i've never had from knife stores, hardware stores, etc..
Good to know.
BTW those GransforsBruks axes rock. I have a very small one I use for field dressing and camp chores, the edge holding rivals the best knives i've ever had.
BTW2 I finish the sharpening on mine w/ a few strokes on a strop (?) that thing gets insanelly sharp.

I remember many years ago Schrade made a Guns & ammo edition of their Ol Timer. It had "Guns & Ammo" in plce of the Scrade on the handle and I think the sheath was embossed with the G&A logo. They sent it to subscribers as a gift and I just kept it and never used it. Didn't realize people collected Schrade knives.
