I just bought a CNC lathe back in Iowa, and need to get it to Sacramento or Redding, Ca or Reno. What ever is the lowest cost.

I remember we do have some truckers here, but I can't remember their handle.

Also if anyone coming to this way with a pickup and trailer would work. I can arrange off load. The machine would be on loaded in Dubuque, IA.

3500 lbs.- 48" wide x 89" long x 69" high.

The computer control case will be removed and go in a box (this has to stay dry with a fairly comfy ride). Roughly 20" square or less in size.

The lathe itself can be tarped and outside on an open trailer. No problem.

As bad as I hate it, you might look at Uship. If you do be careful who you deal with as a lot of the bidders will not have freight insurance, and if dealing with a private person you have no recourse if it never shows up. Uship will not back you.

THanks guys.

I got a good rate to have it shipped air-ride from a freight company in Dubuque who ships machines so I have it covered.

$1095 insured to Sacramento. I think that is very good considering it would cost me twice that to drive back and pick it up and some 65 hours of driving.
