I noticed there is no data on castpics for this combo. Anybody got any data for this? I would like to load tumble lubed Lee .358-158 SWCs for a S/W mod. 19.

Thanks,
Jim

I think WC820 is too slow to be useful in a 38 Special level load. Most folks say to use WC820 like AA #9 and none of the load data I have lists AA#9 as a powder appropriate for 38 Special.
I load 11.5 grs of WC820 in a 357 Mag case and use the Lyman 358156. This load is very accurate in a 357 Mag revolver and a moderate 357 Mag load.

IIRC, this came in a Fast version as well. My records indicate using HS-7 or WW 571 data for those lots.

I don't have any load data, and wonder if there is some out there for the faster version of the WC820 in the .38 Special?

I tried 820 (lot unknown) with 38 cases in my 357's. Did not burn clean (had bloopers also) or was accurate until I reached +p loadings. Skeeters load worked fine with the 158 gc swc . My lot of powder is real close to 2400.
