Are you referring to a S&W in 41 Magnum?

Wow, crickets!!! OK, I'll take a stab. If you can't get it shoot under 2 inches at 25 yards, rested, then either gun or ammo need some more work. Now, go shoot it and let us know how it works out.... enjoy Mike

I disagree.

I have never owned a S&W revolver that wouldn't do two inches at 25 yards from a sandbag and with the factory sights. I used to have a K32 that would put factory wadcutters in a group that could be hidden with a nickle. ( about half the time )

From a machine rest, I would be dissapointed with anything greater than one inch at 25 yards. That said, I have never owned a machine rest nor have I ever seen any handgun fired from one but if it can't cut manual groups in half - what is the point of using one?

I never put mine in a machine rest, but got two inches at 25 yards off hand.
