what size groups should i be expecting ????

hi guys , brain picking here , i bought several old S&W k frame .38's and I am begining to assemble loads to try out at 25 yards all sixguns are stock with the exception of one snubby that has Farrant grips and a action job , what size groups should i be expecting ????

I can get, rather easily, groups under 1" at 25 yards off a Ransom Rest with GOOD cast bullets in a variety of .38 Special S&W revolvers.

1 - 2 inches, anything much over three inches would suggest something wrong with the loads, or perhaps the gun.

Offhand, up to your shooting skills, but 2" groups are readily done w/ good gun, shooter & ammo. Off the bench, sub 2" groups should be routine.
