Saw the post yesterday on Data 74 availibility and also saw that Data 68 is on sale for the same price. Which would be better for loading the 308 with the 147gr fmj thing for use in a 1919a4 semi? Kind of leaning towards the Data 68 as it seems to be just a little slower than the AA2015. Gotta load the j-word bullets as I can't cast fast enough to feed the thing properly. One of the few guns I use j-word bullets in. Thanks. Pennance to follow for asking such a question, will have to cast some 385's for my 45-70 this afternoon.

Accurate says to multply 2520 charges by 1.03 for Data 74 weights. That may help, it looks like to me that 74 is another 308 powder on the surpluys market. I am hoping to shoot this powder in a M1A for High Power but will have to see where the emptys land.

if 74 is" like" 2520 it should work well in 308 j words..as 2520 was designed for it.

personally i think i'm gonna buy 4-8's of 74....

where's data 68? Natchez hasn't had any for awhile and said they wouldn't get any more. Any place else?
