Does anyone remember or own an Astorian Rifle? I recall they were availabel back in the late 70s or early 80s. A half stocked flint rifle and usually large caliber.

Anyone remember these? Photos would be nice also.

No photos but I do remember them somewhat. Seems like they were smaller bore as in 45?

I recall Astorian rifles made by Oregon Gun Works (in Springfield Oregon I think) back in the 1970's. A friend bought one and I thought pretty seriously about it but didn't for some reason. If memory serves they were relatively small bore and commonly .45 cal.

I had not, and have not, seen them anywhere else but a quick internet search shows that Astorian rifles were made by Green River Forge as well saying they were a copy of a Belgian Northwest gun.

Not a bunch of help but that's the best I've got.
