What size are the O-rings for the plunger in the lube reservoir and where is a good place to buy them?

Don't know the size, but I found my replacements in the plumbing department of a local hardware store. Take an old one with you.

I would sugest going to hydraulic supply house to get your "o" rings, as your lube will have some type of oil product in it and regular plumbing seals may deteriorate when in contact with the lube ! Just my oppinion !

Lyman sells them online for a buck each and shipping. http://www.lymanproducts.com/store/page150.html

I replaced mine with Viton O-rings from a company that rebuilds hydraulic cylinders, the Viton won't swell and has a very high abrasion resistance. I almost went with Teflon lip seals and a rubber o-ring backer, but I would have had to buy a package kit that cost about $30, and the o-rings were less than two bucks apiece and available by themselves. They work great.

Took one of the new ones from Lyman and matched it at ACE hardware. 35 cents each and locally available. I change mine whenever they even start looking bad.

The plain jane ones from the local hardware store work just fine. It's true that you may have to replace them every so often, but for 25-35 cents I haven't felt that I'm breaking the bank when I buy one whether the machine needs it or not every year or so.

Sears Hardware stores usually have a good display and supply of o rings.
