Wc 680

Does anyone have a good source for WC 680 (Or is it 1680?) ?

I recently purchased a couple jugs of DP68 from Natchez. Is that the same as WC680? It was about 69 bucks a jug.

What are you using the WC680 in? I haven't had a chance to try my DP68 but thought I'd try it in 22 to 23 grain doses in the 30-30 'cause WC820 is working so well at 16 grains using RCBS 30-180-FN at 196 grains (just short of 1700 fps).

DP68 is more like a H322 variant, so that would be a couple of notches slower than H680. ... felix

Actually, Accurate claims, "Although 2015 is an extruded powder DP68 is very close to it in relative burn rate". That puts DP68 in the 4198 neighborhood which makes it more likely to be a WC680 clone.

Well Felix I would say my answer is closer than yours but I did say "more likely" not the equivalent of. Personally, I appreciate specific answers to specific questions which prevent people from guessing too much and perhaps making unnecessary mistakes. What I am wondering is how close WC680 is to DP68 and I think I may have a tiny bit of the former around here somewhere. Unfortunately, I just checked Natchez and they are out of DP68 so I guess I can't help you Scrounger.
