Does anybody know what metal that is at the tip?....I have some old ones and they are not oxidized in the least and they were NOT kept under ideal conditions...

That is a thin layer of aluminum.

I thought it was aluminum after I dissected one, but was wanting a second opinion,,,,thank you.

I just bought 12 boxes of em in 35 remington....$2 a box....all rounds look newish... boxes look bad....
