Lyman cast #3 shows 8 to 10 with the 205gr. They say not for handgun or BP guns.

Most shooters that I know in the cowboy game shoot with the 9-10 gr. loads. The 44WCF is my caliber of choice but a full case of BP works better for me. The clean up is easy as the case and pressure seal the bore. No blowback and all you have to do is clean the barrel. The 44WCF was loaded at one time with a 217 gr. J bullet that was loaded with that white powder and it was moving in the high 1450 range. The 92 rifle is a very strong action and will shoot the faster loads with out problem.
