RD in a Sharps?

I had this in the single-shot rifle section with no response thought I'd try here.

Has anyone used either of the RD 45 boolits in a Sharps? Looking at Trapdoor fps with smokeless. If so would a guy need a gas check?

Haven't tried it, no Trapdoor currently. Shouldn't need a GC at Trapdoor fps, use ww or 50/50 ww/Pb. Check your throat/bore and make sure your boolit fits.

My favorite load in my Pedersoli Sharps is a RD 350gr with the GC left off and 27 gr AA5744. Sized .460 It shoots great.

I'm wanting to get the Pedersoli out in the worst way. I think my next mold purchase will be the RD 350. Thanks
