I spent about 6 months in Baxley Georgia, which is next door to Vidalia. The only industry there is the Hatch Nuclear Power Generating Facility, which is where I was working during a refueling outtage. There is NOTHING out there, the only eatery in town was open 3 nights a week and they closed the doors at 10pm. The most corrupt police department I have ever encountered is out that way too, I have never had any trouble with the law anywhere I have ever been, except there. Power hungry deputy with way too much time on his hands and an attitude of HE is GOD and everyone is beneath contempt. I wouldn't go back there on a bet. Good Luck!
