I posted these pics on one of the old cast boolets BB,but with all the new faces here I thought I would post it again
A few years ago I decided I needed a new casting bench.I asked around and nothing anyone else was using triped my trigger. At that time I had two Lee 20 lb pots.I used the dipper for big soft boolets[I cast a lot of 500 gr minnes] And a pottom pour for aloy centerfire stuff. So I wanted the pots to be at diffrent levels. So after a trip or two to my scrap pile this is what I came up with

Insert is a piece of 1/4" steel.Top is 1/4" masonite.Bench is about navel high which is just right for the high stool I use.I can use ether level sitting or standing. I have made a couple changes over the years.I lined the well with sheet metal and raised up the lower pot with a layer of bricks.I also found a junked kitchen stove hood unit that is mounted overhead.
