Have any of you fellas cast any boolits out of one of these moulds? Are they accurate? I keep looking at this mould- Lee 45 cal. 252 gr. SWC, but don't want to waste the money if the slugs aren't accurate. Reason I ask is I have a Blackhawk that's extremely accurate with mild loads & the RCBS 255 gr. sized to .452" From what I gathered, everything is right about this gun. Throats are .451- .4515" Bore is tight as well measuring the same. It'll shoot .454 slugs well too, but seems to like the .452" dia. a little better. My new RCBS mould is for .454" guns. Let me ask ya' this....Could I do a two step on these? As cast, they drop @ .456" & I size them to .454". Could I go to .452" with them without hurting the boolits? I had a Lyman mould, but the slugs just didn't want to shoot in this revolver. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
