I made a short video showing the test firing of the .45 BPM with 60 grains of FFFg in a converted Walker revolver:

very interesting why didn't you try a 250 gr bullet?

The idea was to try as best as possible to emulate, with a cartridge, the equivalent of what a full load is in cap-n-ball mode. That being a 141 grain round ball and 60 grains of FFFg. Without a chrony on hand at the moment an experiment with a 250 grain bullet on top of 60 grains FFFg wouldn't tell me much. The 250 grain bullet might put undue strain on the wedge/arbor mechanism that holds the barrel on. I'm sure it would have considerably more kick to it too. Maybe I'll try it later when I'm finished with all the other experiments.

It will be interesting to see if that open frame will last.
There was a reason they put a top strap on those.
