Troy,
The Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook #3 has data for 225107 in the .223 Remington. That should give you a start on a workable load. Will you be able to seat the bullet to touch the lands? That may impact how well it shoots in your rifle.
If you can't find a copy of Lyman #3 send me a PM with your address and I'll forward some data.
Tony

I have shot a 34gr j-word out of my Encore 223 with a 1 in 12 twist and if velocity was kept low accuracy was 1 1/2" @ 100 as opposed to 1/2" with 52gr bullets. When I pushed them the groups would turn into patterns of about 2". I think that in a 1 in 9 you would have to keep velocity low to see any decent accuracy. When I shoot the same 34 j-words out of my 1 in 14 barrels I can push it close to 3K. I have a 1 in 7 twist in my AR and get horrible accuracy from a 225415 that weighs 56grs. Each gun is an entity unto itself. Good Luck!

Good luck you may find you dont want to tell anyone about the groups .LOL
the 1/9 was set for high speed and a 55 + gr jacket

I shoot the 34gr. DogTown HP in my K Hor at about 3000-3050, and it shoots well. Tried it in my 222 yesterday at about 3500, shot about a 5" group at 100. I did hold together as advertized, but think it probably maxes out at about 3100 accuracy wise.

well i was mainly thinking of hornet-ish loads, and not full power .223 loads.

Lyman # 4 has there 225438 which is a 44 gr boolit . . . they suggest running it 1700-2400 fps, but they also used a 1:12" barrel . . .
. . . or you could sell the mold to a Hornet guy . . . after you try it at least!
