well i got a lee 240 grain LRN mold for my 44 mag carbine, i lubed it with the lube i made, and forgot what is in it.

the recipe is
WARNING USE AT OWN RISK!!!!!!!
6.1 grain of Titegroup
240 grain sized to 431
seated to crimp groove and a good roll crimp

here are some pictures the target was the first 8 rounds i fired out of the gun shoot its the first 8 rounds out of the gun it was 50 yards standing with a good stiff wind

these were air cooled straight wheel weights

Enjoy

There is only one picture with one loaded cartridge and one hole in the target. If that hole is the result of 8 shots at 50 yards offhand then I am VERY impressed.

I don't think that 6.1 grains of anything except C-4 or TNT would be risky in a 44 magnum unless a stuck bullet in the barrel is part of the risk. And only certain powders at that.

That is an impressive group or should I say hole.

Hoy boy! 8 round, standing at 50 yards in a good wind and all bullets through the same hole! Was he shooting while walking on water also? Perhaps the stock was made from a slab of the True Cross.

I am trying very hard to be charitable to the poster, but this is a hard one to swallow.

Jealous, yes that is it. I wish I had the cajones to post such a picture. Either the guy was pulling our legs or insulting our intelligence. I hope it is the former and not the latter.

i think he just cropped the picture and the holes are off to the right.
on an 8x11 paper 8 hits standing at 50 is pretty good, if they are on half the paper thats better.
