Remington Primers ?

My brother-inlaw bought some stuff at an auction the other day and gave me some No.5 1/2 and 1 1/2 small pistol primers. I would like to know what is the difference in the two numbers?

I have always used CCI primers and they are simple to figure out.

dtalley, 1 1/2 is Small pistol, 5/12 is magnum small pistol...Ray

Thanks Ray, that is kind of what I figured but didn't know if there were other numbers of Small pistol primmers by Rem.
