Like many items for sale, they are advertised way before they actually appear on the scene

I just picked one up Tuesday but they didn't have any handles so it will be a couple days before I find out how well it casts. It looks good no burrs the blocks fit up nice looking forward to trying it out. FB

I wish they'd make one for #1 buck. That size is the best bang for the "buck" (sorry), as you can get a LOT more of the .30 cal pellets in a shotshell than you can #00. Shotguns kill by multiple hits. 16 v.s. 9 in a 2-3/4 shell, 24 v.s. 16 in a 3" 12 ga shell. The small difference in penetration between .30 and .33 diameter balls is of little consequence.

Stew

Will this work for the Tarus Judge 3" 410 shells or are they to Big/Small to load properly?

Best price and source is lee factory sale ....$36.99
http://factorysales.com/html/xcart/Lee-00-BUCKSHOT-18-MOLD-Lee-Handles-shown-not-included.html

These cast fine but you'll run a much hotter melt to fill outwith a 95-98% pb alloy.
The product is at least as round as factory buck, and holds a 4"- 6" group at 30 feet with an I/C.
My load is a 4x2 stack in a AA hull and AA-12 wad, pushed by 19.5 grains green dot for 1250 fps. While 1 pellet less than factory 00 shells, and 100 fps slower, it's still devestating and has very distinct advantages:
440 grains total at 1250 fps is close to a 45-70 energy level.
440 grains is dead on... 1 1/8 oz. for all practical purposes.
The 8 point AA crimp is perfect and tight.
The WAD protects the barrel, the one pellet fewer is insignificant regarding impact effect, and coupled with the slightly less velocity is a REAL shoulder saver!
Try it and you'll not be disappointed.

437.5 grains = 1 ounce.
