I recently had a mold hollow pointed by Buckshot, ( An excelent job) It started life as an RCBS 45-405gc that was casting at 410 gr., now it casts a beautiful 375 gr. HP. I am loading for a 45-70 marlin GG. I have H322, H335, and H4895. Using 15 bhn alloy,(lee tester) It will be used for deer. I am open for suggestions as to loads. Thanks, Stu

I use H-4895 with a 400gr. cast bullet. It is very accurate although it is not a hollow point.I would think you might want a softer alloy to get the hollow point to work properly.Maybe just add some lead to your Lyman #2.I am getting one of the Group buy 330gr. hollow point molds soon and hope to experiment for myself.
