of 2 rifles/calibers to shoot/hunt with cast what would you use?
I would think a Hornet for small game and ???? for large game- large game meaning, boar, moose and maybe bear (at reasonable distances-150 yrds or so max)

Even though we don't cast for them maybe a .22 LR for the really small stuff added to either above.

Aw heck, I can't survive on just two rifles. Gimme a .22 LR, .30-30, .356 Winchester, and either of the two already mentioned. ;)

Having to only have 2 choices would be a sad state of affairs indeed...I do not think I could do it...

The above mentioned 45-70 for whumpin that which needs to be whumped and a 30-30 for the wide range of boolits available for it. Of course I couldn't possibly make the choice but thats what I come up with.

I would choose a 44 Mag and a 30-06. I don't think there is too much the 2 of them won't take care of with cast bullets. A person can load them up or load them down but there is definately a combination that will take care of whatever you have in mind.
