Are 50 cal gas checks available in 510 or 500 diameter ?

If available, can you advise who makes 510 diam GC's and where can they be purchased ?

Not trying to mooch in but I am looking for some .501 gas checks for my 500 S&W. Need info on options, all I have seen is Hornady selling these. Have not contacted Gator yet.

thanks your response. I am still researching this project and dont have any moulds as yet. I will likely opt for a couple of custom moulds so shank diam could be specified. I expect to be sizing to 512, so a 510 GC is going to be better than 500.

What alerted this to me was a guy I know in Oz has had a 50/110 made up locally and he was having trouble with cast bullets he was using. They were leading badly and they were fitted with 500 diam GC's. The bullets were coated in dry moly lube but I have no experience with this either, so not sure it was the undersize GC and/or the lube.

I have no knowlegde of what's around in 50 cal GC's so appreciate responses.
