This is all the info I have.

Black powder only - Made in Italy (on the left side of the
barrel); Cal. 44 (on left side); a stamp above the trigger towards
the front which is a circle that contains a symbol/brand of some
kind; on the right side of the gun, behind the barrel, on the
opposite side where it states 44 Cal are two stamps, one that
looks something like a shield and the other is "PN;" above the
trigger on the right side is the shield again, an AB within a
rectangle, and PN. two matching serial numbers in front of the
trigger and on the front end/barrel part (90761 matched to 761);
the trigger/guard/part looks to be brass; the handles are matched
wood (good fit).

For questions like this, photos help a lot.

From the date code you mentioned, AB within a rectangle, your revolver was made in 1976. The PN and some of the other marks are proof marks required by the Italians prior to sale. The makers mark, you might be able to find it here.
