If that T/C is a Senaca 36 it is a steal for $ 200 with a good bore.
HURRY !

The 36 Senaca is a great little gun and a lot of fun to shoot. Powder and lead go a long way in them.

I talked to the owner of the pawn shop. He said he would let them go both of the rifles for a total of 325.00 that breaks down to 162.5 each. looks like I am buying to rifles.

You dun well, quit well. T/C Seneca 's in VG condition are getting $400 +. Not as common as the Hawken & Renegade.
Is the SB a Renagade or PA Hunter or??
You get that at a reduced price & you get another for free & you can also use the
free bee as a shotgun.

Yes indeed you did good. I have a TC .56 SB(smooth bore). I shoot patched round ball and as runnin lead says it is also a 28 gauge shotgun. I shoot squirrels regularily at 30 yards with mine and about 1/2 oz of shot. It is great fun. Congradulations on two good finds.

I picked them both up today. The 36 patch box still had a ball and patch in it. The other was 54. I will be cleaning them up tonight or tomorrow. I don't have any ball for either one. except the one ball in the 36 patch box. I'll get some pics up after they are cleaned up. I guess this is silly but will BLO be okay for the stock of these two rifles

The 36s are getting kind of hard to find without paying an arm and a leg. I tried to get a deal on one a couple times and the deal fell through both times. That 36 should be a real fun one to shoot.

I would just apply some Howard's Feed 'N Wax to the stocks, and go from there.

My T/C 54 I think this is a renagade. The bore looked new. I don't think the gun had been fired but I can't prove that.

Man that's funny.I was in a pawn shop yesterday & they wanted $250 for the same 54 cal.
The other one they had, someone put a scope on it & I did not even bother looking at it other than price tag = $285.
You stole those!

If there is one good thing, actually the only one I can think of, about the inline craze is that there seems to be a fairly steady stream of sidelocks trickling back into the market.

I own a couple of .45 cal T/C's, a rifle and a pistol - both unmarked with a model name.

My pistol's a Patriot of course,; and I know my rifle is a pre-Seneca, since it has the smaller Seneca 13/16" across-the-flats barrel, the same as the Patriot.

If it was an unmarked, pre-Hawken .45, it would have a heavier 15/16" Hawken barrel.

Your .54 IS a 1" barreled Renegade.

Yes the 36 caliber is a Seneca I have 2 of them and two cherokees also got the first two over 30 years ago and had to wait that long to find the second of each. Was kind of funny really I stopped in to just browse my local gunshop at the time and just happened to look at muzzle loaders after a lever I liked was to much for me to spend and then I saw the Seneca and asked to look at it and my usual salesman said he had a cherokee also so I looked and asked for a price on each and it was something like $400 and $600 for both so I did just that, have been offered more than I paid for both for just one and no they are not for sale.
The second one is a Renegade
You did real good
