I was in need of a few different dies for my Star sizer, and stumbled across a zip loc bag containing 9 dies, 3 of which I needed for $60!

I did get some real oddball ones that I am not sure I will ever use, most of them are not marked, but the ones I needed, .452, .430, and .357 were.

I didn't get a complete set of punches with them. Can these be purchased seperately?

On the unmarked ones, I can measure the I.D with a ball guage and mic, but not sure how much allowance to make for spring-back in the
lead bullet, if any.

In other words, how can I tell what it will size a bullet to?

Give Lathesmith a PM and he can help you with the punches you need . I'd bet he can even tell you about lead springback and such .

flat punches take care of 99% of my stars needs.
i started with three for most everything the only few i have for special purpose are for my rifles.
i use the same one for 32-357
and one for40-41
and one for 44-45
i now got more
one for 270- 7mm
and one for 30 - 8mm
one for 375,and two for 223 one flat and one dished.
not dished for the nose, dished for the edges of the gas check.

Measure one of the marked ones to see what spring back should be.

this is where one of those pin guage sets would come in pretty handy.

You size a boolit with it and measure it.
