Muzzleloading, Rimfire, BP Cartridge, Revolver... jeez...

You know about .38/.45 Conversion cylinders for C&B guns... but Kirst has upped (downed?) the ante:

It's more fun than a barrel of monkeys! I got one and use it in both my Uberti 1858 5.5" revolver AND my Uberti 1858 Cap & Ball Carbine! And I have the .45 ACP gated Kirst Konverter for the 1858 Uberti as well, so now I have 2 guns that each are capable of shooting .44 balls, .45 ACP cartridges, and .22 short, long, long rifle, CB caps, BB caps, UB caps, MeB caps, and WhoB caps! If you can only afford one conversion, make it the Kirst .22 unit. And cut the ring, it won't hurt a thing. That way you don't have to remove the cylinder to reload, especially if you install a Richard Mason Ejector. (You do have to thin the ejector rod a little, but than it works like a charm and you have a nice SA .22 revolver every bit as good as a Ruger Single Six!) Sell the wife and buy the Kirst. It'll be the best financial move you ever made.

Interesting. Anyone have a pic of the .22 with the ring cut so?

Oh boy, I have one of those in the safe that hasn't been used in many years. She may be getting a wake up call!

I couldn't get it to show price on the 22 conversion kit.

I saw them last night on the Kirst, Buffalo Arms and Numrich (of all places) websites and the going rate is $290-300.
