Well, I figured it was time to start hunting a bit, so went up the mountain this morning, and shot a doe, with the Bator .35-250 (277), from the .358 Winchester. Dropped in her tracks. Shot was maybe 35-40 yards.
I do need to go back in the morning, to get the knife I left on the mountain. :roll:
No hurry, it's not in a place any one else will wander into! Not a bad drag though, maybe 5-600 yards, all down hill.

And, I did go into the shop today, and jeweled my bolt and extractor. Was going to do the raceways, but the crayex tube broke on me. Oh well, there is always next week.
