I have done web searches for barrel makers . Have not seen what I need . I hear that there are one or two out there not on the web . Any one have names or numbers they can share . Looking for a .251 groove blank to start with 30-36 inchs long . Track of the wolf makes a liner . But Marvin

If its not a standard rifle barrel diameter, Lilja can make it for you, for a price.

One day, I decided I wanted 3 groove, 1-15", .2239" barrel. I ordered it, paid, waited, and that is what I got.

Also, that boolit serving as your avitar; way cool! Is that a cut down TC Maxi .454? What a great black powder 45 Colt revolver "button load" that could be!

I'd guess air rifle pellet for a big bore but yeah it would be nice in a 45.

So gotta bite .251 grove so about a .248 bore? What the heck do you have in mind epecialy with a 30+ barrel length?

Accurate mold made the mold for the bullet in question . 142 grains with 12 bhn lead . Drops around .455 . I have that bullet mold in .312, .358, and .455 all molds made by him . Bullet is very accurate in my air rifles . Barrel in question is for a condor air rifle with a 24 inch barrel right now . I can pick up about 10 fps per inch with a longer barrel up to a point . Much like B.P. rifles . Air is like powder to me . It is not easy nor cheap to get to 3000-4000 psi . Rifle with the longer barrel would be for bench use and the 24 for field . Still looking info is welcomed .Marvin

If you are choosing your custom barrel and making your own boolits, especially from custom molds, you might save yourself a bunch of money and have it made in a standard firearm bore diameter.

AND, now I see you said barrel MAKER and not MARKER.

I bet your 455 pill would romp along rite smartly lubed with BP lube if shot with 35gr of Swiss ffg under it!

Remove the () around the @ if emailing. If one of those 2 cant make it, it cant be had. Both are extremely good and more than a few benchrest matches are won with their products every year. David Tubb uses Schneider exclusively which is a helluva endorsement in my estimation.
