It's a very accurate carbine but a bit trying for offhand shots as there isn't much weight out front. It's kind of easy to wave it around while trying to draw a bead!

Looks good buckshot. Engraving looks identical, apart from the Little Big Horn name and the hand stop or whatever you call it. Mick.

Buckshot's has a name and you can see it on the left hand flat on the trapdoor. I assume it says Little Big Horn, but it looks like Black Big Horn in the pic.

....................gregg, Mick has it. Says "Little Big Horn". I think at one time it was supposed to be gold filled (paint?) but that's long gone.

Battle of Greasy Grass if your an Indian. Bit harder to fit onto the trapdoor.

H&R did a run of 200 plus? How ever many lost there lives
at the Little Big Horn with each rifle haveing a trooper's name
on it. Always looked for the Tanner Rifle but never found it.

I never heard of that run, what an amazing idea. Unfortunately most battles would have too many dead to run commemoratives.

You're right there, Mick. Can you imagine a commemorative for Galipoli?
