'Band of Brothers' Unit Loses Another Hero

"The oldest living member of Easy Company, the World War II unit made famous by the TV miniseries "Band of Brothers," has died.

Ed Mauser passed away on Friday at the age of 94, according to the Omaha World Herald. He had been suffering from pancreatic cancer."

Saw this today too.The article I read said he never told anyone about where he served until a few years ago. He worked as a watchmaker for 40 years. These guys are some serious role models, so much humility.

It's sure sad to see these guys go. I lost my friend and neighbor in September, he was 90, a mobile A-A gunner with 1st. Army, 1944-1945.
