AA2200 Powder

Anyone have experience with Accurate 2200 and cast bullets in 30WCF, .375Win, or 8mm Mauser. Or otherwise.

..........I used it in the 7.62x39 and 35 Rem. Check the Castpics website on the Surplus powder load data. I don't recall what else I used it with. I had the data sheet from Accurate, printed off thier website and just went to get it but can't find it! They had data for that powder in the 30-30, 45-70, 458 Win Mag, 357 Herret and a couple others.

I used it in .223 Rem and .30-30. No doubt it would work well in other calibers. I loved it, scarfed up all I could find. I do have their load data and can send it to you via Email if you want.

Scrounger, Thanks for the load data. Tried 23gr with the Lee 170 and RCBS 180 GCs in a 30-30 Handi-rifle. 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 in. 5 shot groups at 100yds. Looks like the A2200 will work out. Also shot some with the 45-70 barrrel using the RCBS 405GC and 40gr of A2200, shot well at 100yds, two shots nearly touching, third about 2 inches out, but recoils was a bit stout. Thanks again.

I shoot AA2200 in my FBW and CPA Stevens 44 1/2 both chambered in 444 Marlin. Loads use Homny Grits as filler and shoot very, very well.
