Big dummy here loaded a bunch of rounds for my Glock 9 mm way to short. Oal is tad over 1.1 inch. My second edition of Lyman cast bullets says max oal is 1.169. Have a box of commerical Winchester 115 grain bullets that measure about 1.159 or so.

What length are others using on the TL356-124-TC for 9mm. Or better still how many micro lube grooves are exposed?

Oal's given for other bullets are meaningless. Two things to keep in mind, where the throat is in your Glock and uniform bullet pull. You can't load any longer than what will chamber without jamming into the rifling, if you have a short throat that will be your limiting factor. The other consideration is how much bullet is in the case. If you have a long throat (like I did on my Khar) you can load it out a bit but I believe it's designed to be all in the case. My BHP would only allow about .030" of any shoulder out of the case. Using the Lee 120 TC my OAL was 1.060"

I have Lee's 429-200-RF, not a tumble lube design. In my Marlin 1894 44 mag crimped in the crimp groove it gives too short an overall length. It won't feed from the magazine. If I seat the boolit out so I crimp in the next groove the OAL lets them feed.
I think the seating depth is determined by what your gun likes not how many lube grooves are in or out of the case.
