I used to hate this kind of weather. Now I have a pattern for the early evenings. Right after dinner go downstairs to the garage and cast up either for the 38, 357, or 9mm and 9mm Mak. I got into a nice rhythm and can make a bunch of boolits even with SC or DC molds! Very relaxing too spending about an hour/90 mins. doing this hobby.

Once the weather breaks a little and I get to try out some of these loads, I can really go into production for my spring/summer shooting.

Winter isn't good for much else. I also take advantage of the cold-foul weather to cast and do my case prep for when liveable temps arrive.

Wind chill is -26 deg. right now. I wonder what the BHN of air cooled WW would be this morning. The older I get, the colder it gets.

those would be some boolits!

I completely agree, every year the cold bothers me a little bit more. Once New Years is over with I am ready for spring.
