Good evening Men, new greenhorn here, Is there anyone here on the site that casts round balls for hire?
I have an 8-bore BP rifle and my supplies are runnin a bit low, I have the mold and handles, the round balls measure.805 and weigh about 850 gns. w/ pure lead.
I dont have the eq. or expertise to cast a coupla hundred round balls for my rifle.
Anyone have the time or interest for this project?

I personally don't like to sell boolits do to laws and all, but I am sure we could work out a "trade" of some sort.

Will see if we can work something out.

2ndAmendmentNut, Thanks for the welcome, Im not familiar with the laws myself, I figured on just sendin the mold and handles to someone along w/a check for casting and they could send the round balls and mold back to me.
Surely thats not illegal nowadays.

Check October Country.They list round balls up to 8 bore although the diameter is listed at .820. If they can't help I'm sure someone here can help you.

I checked w/ OC a while back, but my rifle fires an .805 RB. Steve Zihn out west built it.
I was referred to this site from a hand over @ accurate reloading, He thinks there are lots of casters in my area of Okla.
