Jarrett owns an NEF .44 Mag rifle with a dot scope. I will be teaching him to load bottleneck calibers and handgun calibers. Toward this, I have on hand:
Smith & Wesson model 19 revolver, caliber .38 Spl/ .357 mag.
Taurus Judge, caliber .45 Colt/.410
Ruger P345, caliber .45 ACP
Savage model 110 bolt rifle, caliber .223
Carl Gustaf Swedish Mauser, caliber 6.5X55
1916 Spanish Mauser, caliber .308
Winchester model 670 bolt rifle, caliber .30-06
Remington Eddystone model 1917 rifle, caliber .30-06
Lee Enfield, caliber .303
Marlin Guide Gun, caliber .45-70
Gibbs Summit bolt rifle, caliber .45-70

Y'all don't freak out and think I'm gonna put him behind a Guide Gun with Cape Buffalo charges. I know better than that. But, we CAN load .45-70 cases with Unique and RBs.

I also have a Caldwell Lead Sled that's weighted to 32 lbs. and there's a shooting bench and stool on the range.

Gentlemen, I want you all to know(as if you don't) there is no way I could make this happen by myself. I have not hesitated to confess I am on a very limited budget as I am not working. I thank all of you most sincerely.

I have been with Cast Boolits since it was originally Shooters.com. I have NEVER seen such a massive and sweeping effort to achieve something of this nature. I have seen many members assemble to assist another adult in times of hardship, but this young man has attracted the attention of almost the entire forum.

Thank you, guys. Thank you so much.

Understandably, it will take time for him to absorb all of this. I WILL be teaching him the full curriculum of this hobby.

As time goes along, he will be exposed to casting, loading and shooting the following calibers:

Smith & Wesson model 19 revolver, caliber .38 Spl/ .357 mag.
Taurus Judge, caliber .45 Colt/.410
Ruger P345, caliber .45 ACP
Savage model 110 bolt rifle, caliber .223
Carl Gustaf Swedish Mauser, caliber 6.5X55
1916 Spanish Mauser, caliber .308
Winchester model 670 bolt rifle, caliber .30-06
Remington Eddystone model 1917 rifle, caliber .30-06
Lee Enfield, caliber .303
Marlin Guide Gun, caliber .45-70
Gibbs Summit bolt rifle, caliber .45-70

LOL when I was his age my personal arsenal consisted of a single shot 20 guage, a year later I aquired a 22. Then at age 15 I aquired a 300 M99 and promptly bought a lee loader, and I thought I was in hog heaven. lol

Approximately 12 pounds of alloy, a sack of .44 mag brass and more '06 brass than I've ever seen in one place.

Donated to Jarrett by a Cast Boolits member.

This is the greatest forum on the net. I defy and challenge ANY forum to do something like this. We got the greatest people in the world right here.

I started this thread with an inventory of what has been pledged or shipped. Honestly, I can't keep up. I am trying my very best to PM everyone that has contributed, but there's so much stuff coming in for Jarrett, it's difficult to keep track.

I knew there would be those that would help, but I cannot comprehend this level of caring shown to Jarrett by this forum. How does one sufficiently thank people for this? I'm not capable of expressing that.

Fellas, y'all have no idea how this affects me. For the first time in my entire life, I will admit, to men I have never met, that sometimes I sit here in the gun room and look at the boxes coming in and I tear up.

Thank you, guys. I just...................that's all I can come up with.

I do not have that one, Vern. Thank you so much!
That will come in handy in the 1917 Eddystone and the 1916 Spanish Mauser.
