Does anyone make a 250 to 300gr .500ish boolit mold? I am wanting to use it in a sabot for a 20 gauge slug gun. I am very close to a viable sabot design that I can assemble myself and costs me around $0.13 apiece. I found the Lee REAL muzzleloader bullet and have a few samples to play with for prototyping my sabot but eventually will want a more aerodynamic boolit and possibly a hollow point. Let me know what you guys have.

Matt, I have also got some of the 250 gr real bullets If you need some more and I have the lee modern minnie that looks like a hollow base wad cutter with small lube grooves. the hollow base looks to me like a massive hollow point yawning there. They have a nominal weight of 360 gr I think. Do these interest you? I need some 200 gr 45 bullets.

frkelly,

I am good for now on the real bullets and not extremely interested in the minnie. I am looking for something a bit more aerodynamic than a wadcutter. My goal is around 3" at 100'. Might be dreaming, but I'm gonna give it a shot.

How is that mold working for you?
I really like my old style mini mold from Lee that I kept.
Just checking in with you.

Well Llafaun, I got a bunch of them cast up and it casts a nice looking slug. I have not shot too many of them yet but will. An unexpected side effect has been a desire to get a 500 S&W barrel for my Handi Rifle, to play with. So many ideas and so little time.

Matt, Sounds like an interesting project, Good luck with it.
