I recently bought the mould and have cast a few hundred that are very nice looking. My problem is what load and AOL should I use. I am using Titegroup. I also have the Lee T356-124-2R. With this mould, I am using 3.8 grains with a AOL of 1.125. With the TC, if I use the same AOL, the top 2 lube rings are exposed. Will this cause a problem as it wont be seated at the same depth as the 2R? I have dropped a TC with the 1.125 AOL in the barrel and it slides in and out with ease. I will be shooting them out of a S & W SW9VE and a Ruger SR9c. The 2R's shoot very well out of the Sigma, haven't used them in the SR9c yet as it is my wife's and she just got it so we shot around 75 rounds with the expensive store bought stuff to break it in. Thanks for any input.

I had that same exact mold, never got it to shoot straight in my CZ. Most went in sideways.

In your case I'd just load to about 1.09oal and call it good. Mine wouldn't chamber until the ogive was flush with the case mouth, something like 1.01.

Good boolit! I use .357 or .358 diam of AC WWts, full power loads, accurate and
reliable in multiple guns.

I have that mold, if you're talking about the TL variety. I've found success in my p226. I don't size them, and I use AA #7 or Blue Dot, pushed to around 1000fps. That's about 7.4 gr. #7– I haven't tried the blue dot yet, but probably about the same. The bullets are range lead with a little sweetening, bhn around 14-15. I like water dropping them, too. I don't have any grooves exposed when I seat them. Good luck

Shootingblanks00: I've just tried cast in my new SR9C, and am delighted with the results. I have a couple of 25 yard groups off the bags that are under 1 1/2", something I never expected with a striker fired gun. I am really tempted to get a regular sized SR9 to go with it if I can find one with a trigger as nice as the out of box one on my SR9C. I was using the Lee 358-125 RNFP over Power Pistol, but have some Lee 358-105 SWC ready to try too. I had them sized at .358, and they worked fine.

Thanks for the input. I am still concerned with the AOL. Will an AOL of 1.09 and the same powder charge cause too much pressure or should I reduce it a few 10ths?

You mean OAL? Yeah–1.09" sounds fine. for the TL356-124TC I have an OAL of 1.055, with no pressure problems. I don't shoot top loads with these bullets, but they're not weak either.

ok. I'll load some up and see what happens and post back with the results.

I shoot that same bullet in my Sigma also. I took the bbl out and dropped a bullet in to see if it would chamber fully. OAL is 1.059 That exposes about 1/2 the 1st band on the Lee 124 TC.
