I am in the process of waiting for my glock barrel and dillon dies for the 9x25 to show up. A little background, the 9x25 dillon is a necked down 10mm to 9mm. It's like a 357 Sig on roides. It will push a 90gr XTP to over 2000fps and up to 2200fps. Lead can be pushed faster then the jword bullets. I'm wanting to get about 1800-2000fps out of a 125gr cast boolit but I'm woried about leading. Do you think I will need a gas check and what boolit styles do you think would perform best? Thanks

.............Id say definately yes on the GC (pressures must be high I suppose) and probably the truncated cone nose design.

Standard 10mm pressure which is 37,500 but its loaded to 40,000 some times.

We do have one of our members that makes a gas check maker that will go on non-gas check boolits, this would allow you to use any boolit mold with a gas check instead of just a gas check design.
