CZ 550 FS 9.3x62 range report

Here is the rifle my wife got me. And I was able to get to the range to day and shoot it a little. It was a cool windy day but the sun was out. This is the first time to the range with the rifle. I am very pleased with the results. 50 yds open sights off a bench.

I used 285gr Prvi boolits and brass over 57grs of Varget and Winchester large rifle primers. The recoil is alittle stiff but its more like a push than a snap. You got to love big bore rifles:D.

hey tcrocker, you haven't quite got that 9.3 sited in yet. You need to go another 1/2" left if you want to hit a gnat in the boiler room. Other than that, nice shooting and nice rifle. I have a 550 (the early version American) in thuttyotsix. I got a real surprise when I tried the set trigger the first time. Thing must be set at 6 whole oz's. I think my youngest grandson has his eyes on it for his "papaw" rifle. enjoy, James

I had the 06 my self it was the frist one I bought. I got one of the lux's in 22lr and it's a tack driver too.
